AS/400
Hi friends.
Usually we sent any data in AS/400 as an attachment via Mail. But I want to know is there any possibility to extract the data on the body of the mail and is there any way to print the printer file in body of the mail in AS/400.

Your question is a little confusing. Can you provide some more details or better yet some code so we can see what you are trying to accomplish?

Are you talking about sending an email from IBMi or receiving?
If sending, there is a good utility at "mowyourlawn" - look for RPGMail.

Yes, more details are required. If the printer is attached correctly with the system, you can print as a printer file. There is a option that can guide you in printer dialogue box.

For Sending printed output over in the Mail Body you can use CPYSPLF into the MailBdy file.

"Usually we sent any data in AS/400..."

Does that mean sending from "AS/400"? Or are you asking about e-mail received by the "AS/400"? ("AS/400" means a system at least 15 years old; hardware series renamed iSeries in 2000 and renamed again since. "AS/400s" can only run old OS versions, so an answer might change for newer systems.)

Do you want to print sent or received e-mail? Do you want the "AS/400" to print it, or is a recipient having trouble?
