Hi, We are using this new sqlloader for a month nowmand it is working fine, but suddenly when we upload new csv files from the client we received this error message when i select the table it gave me this message: ORA-29913: error in executing ODCIEXTTABLEFETCH callout ORA-29400: data cartridge error KUP-04001: error opening file \CEDARWDMVDEVEXPORT.TXT ORA-06512: at "SYS.ORACLE_LOADER", line 52 and the log file is: KUP-04001: error opening file \CEDARWDMVDEVWDM_EXTERNAL_FILE.TXT KUP-04017: OS message: The data is invalid. Take note: we are already using this for more than a month now. I tried to run the old text file that have been uplooaded before to verify the data is valid. But i get this same error again. So this is not a data issue anymore. Please help and thanks a lot... Romeo

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If you are still having problems with the SQL loader, perhaps its time to switch to a commercial SQL loader. They should have less problems. Maybe it would be more compatible with your client.

I guess this is not Oracle's SQL*Loader. What application are you using to load the files ? Also, it could be useful to know the server and client OSes, and the database version.

Perhaps a permissions problem on the network share? Can you access the file over the network share using the same account which the SQL*Loader is trying to access the data?
