I have a large property and want to extend my wireless internet throughout. I assume I need wireless repeaters but how can I effectively connect them together as well as find hardware that can live outside in some sort of case to supply the pool area? I have one 10Mbit line coming in and that goes into a firewall and then a wireless router. I do not want to run a lot of Ethernet!

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You know, you don’t have to have the repeater right next to the pool to provide service to the pool area. Check the range of the repeater and put it in a nearby location that is covered and safe. The specs of the repeater will tell you the range.

Cisco and many other vendors make outdoor wireless access points so you don't have to put them in boxes. How many you need will depend on the coverage you require and effectively how big you "large" property actually is. In addition most APs can be configured to extend a wireless network. Just make sure the ones you buy can as well ;)
