Specs taken from -

(8) small form factor (SFF) hot-plug drive bays to support Serial-attached SCSI (SAS) and Serial ATA (SATA) drives

If you have used up the 8 internal disks then you will need to purchase more storage. Direct Attached or NAS or SAN etc.

Then there are several options for doing this....

1: User a Partition expansion software like Partition Magic (the Disk will still need to be added to the array)

2: Expand the RAID Set - This will depend on the RAID controller to whether this will in tail a restore of data or not (most new RAID cards will do this on the fly)

3: You could map the other disk/s into the other drive as a mounted folder.
How to create and use NTFS mounted drives
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307889

Note: If you are only adding 1 disk and not RAID'd then there is no redundancy so mirrored disk would be advisable. (so if restricted bays then this will need weighing up against rebuilding via restore).
