Exporting / Archiving Lotus iNotes emails
We have a shared Lotus iNotes 8.5.1 email account that is constantly running out of space. We need to save our incoming emails and currently do so by managing them into folders that are created week by week. Is there a way to keep these folders and continue to access the emails etc within them but remove them from the lotus notes account by export or archiving etc? We get a large number of emails each week and need a long retention period for these filed emails.

Do the following :
Actions===> Archive ===Settings
Set the Location where you want to have the Archive file to be created ......
Then
Select all the message to need to get red of , move from the Mailbox and have some more space .... ..... Select " Archive Selected Documents"
The Above mentioned steps are the ones to be applied on Lotus Notes Client not the
the only way is to archive by creating a n Archiving Policy on the server and set a server side Archiving .
