Hi, I am a beginner in SSRS. Please guide me to export SSRS report i.e. .rdl report to an excel sheet.

Hi Buddie, 

There is a direct option to export to excel. preview the report –>then you will find Save icon –> Its a drop down and then you will get option to export type. –>click on that … That’s it …………

    You can use drill through report for this purpose. On rdl file, create link, Click on report area right click > insert > add textbox, now right click textbox > textbox properties > action > go to report. Select .rdl file & select parameter values if any. Now by clicking on report you will be navigate to report no.2 from where you can download report2 as excel.
