Hello,

Client Access has a built in utility for Excel that brings the data transfer utility directly into Excel.

If you are in Excel, click on Tools, Add-ins, then click on browse and go to C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\Shared\cwbtfxla. select it. An option of iSeries data access will apear in your add ins. Check this option and hit ok. you will see a little icon appear on the very top left hand side which looks like an open book.

Now data transfer is part of your excel interface permenantly.

Transfer away. That works both to and from AS/400.

Hope this helps…
