Lotus Domino database
We currently have a Lotus Domino server that has a multiple number of Domino databases (that are arranged in various folders). Would there be a way to export a list of all the databases (with the titles and creator's names) in a spreadsheet format? I have all the administration rights I need to do this. I just need the process.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

you can write a simple code to do this task. Use ‘notesdbdirectory’ class and get the list of dababase file name and title using properties of notesdatabase, In lotus notes help file you will get this. here is the small code for you:

Sub Initialize
Dim dbdir As New NotesDbDirectory(“”)
Dim db As NotesDatabase
Dim i As Single
Dim oWorkbook As Variant
Dim  oExcel  As Variant
Dim arraydb() As String
Dim arrayfile() As String
Set oExcel = CreateObject ( “Excel.Application” )
Set oWorkbook = oExcel.Workbooks.Add
Set oWorkSheet= oWorkbook.Sheets ( 1 )
i=0
Set db = dbdir.GetFirstDatabase(1247)
While Not(db Is Nothing)
Redim arraydb(i) As String
Redim arrayfile(i) As String
arraydb(i)=Cstr(db.title)
arrayfile(i)=Cstr(db.FileName)
Set db = dbdir.GetNextDatabase
oWorkSheet.Cells(i+1,1).value=arraydb(i)
oWorkSheet.Cells(i+1,2).value=arrayfile(i)
i=i+1
Wend
oExcel.visible=True
Call oExcel.quit()
Set oWorkSheet= Nothing
Set oWorkbook = Nothing
Set oExcel = Nothing
End Sub

    If the creators' names aren't critical, you can get this info from the catalog.nsf file.

    Hi,,

    In order to get the all the mailfiles details on an excel sheet you can just to the mail folder e.g. ==> select all ==> Ctrl+ C ==> on the excel sheet Ctrl + V
