Microsoft exchange server 2003 error messages

My server crashed sometime last year, i had to reinstall the operating systen and exchange 2003, now every time i check the logs in event viewier i always see imports computer failed to connect to the domain, but i can see it from my server and the password, user name are not rejected what do you think can be the problem for this error message and how best can it be solved.2. How best i can reinstall the tracking log in exchange 2003 (without reinstalling all exchange) which was deleted unknowlly by one of the junior officers
