On Exchange 2003 the mailbox is working, can send and receive mail, the contacts is working. When open the calender, Outlook is hanging. I need to close outlook and open it again. Other people can schedule me for meetings but I cannot request a meeting. MS office was ininstalled and reinstalled and the problem is still the same. The default mailbox is on the server.

Is this only you? Can you use another machine and still have the same effect?
It worked before. The problem start on Monday. all the other people are working fine.
There were some windows updates, no other changes.
How you closing the outlook in normal cases , are you a mobile user
How your outlook connected to the Mail server
