Exclusive access to Access 2003 database
I have a database located on a server. I have it set to where user clicks the icon and it will open to a main menu. I have one user that when they click the icon and the database opens, they get the message "You do not have exlucive access to this database at this time." It pops up 4 to 6 times before it will finally open and operate normally. This is the only user that has this problem. How to turn this message off.

Software/Hardware used:
Microsoft Access 2003

Answer Wiki:
Here's an article on Technet which describes this symptom, explains the reasons for the error and offers a workaround. Take a look to see if it helps. You receive a "You do not have exclusive access to the database at this time... (Article ID: 839782) I have also read that some external program that installs a toolbar on Access could cause similar problems. This kind of program includes Adobe Acrobat professional among others.
