I have a exchange server 2003 hosted in our network and we have registered our exchange domain in godaddy.com.The problem is whenever our primary ISP is down we are not able to send mails as our primary IP is registered in Godaddy and as a backup we do have a backup Leasline connection which has a different IP ( Both IPs are static )Is there any way i can register both the ips so that if one isp is down i can still send and receive mails through other IP.

You can most certainly create the records for your mail server for DNS. I am not familiar with GoDaddy’s process, but generally, you would go to the site and login. Look for the area where you can make DNS changes and add the other IP address, making the new MX record as a lower priority If you allow use of OWA, you’ll also need to create an A address pointing to your server as well.It should have a different name than your current server in DNS to avoid routing issues. For example, if you currently have mail.mydomain.com as your current record, you may wish to use owa.mydomain.com as the secondary record.
