Exchange notify web app when email bounces?

I'm developing a Q/A knowledge system. When a question is answered the web app sends an email to the user who asked the question. If the message bounces is there a way this can be captured by the web app?

Yes, but it will require a bit of work. You'll need to set the reply-to address to a mailbox that exists, and then write some software which reads the mailbox and processes the bounce messages.
