In the event viewer I have an error on my Exchange 2003 server The MAD Monitoring thread was unable to connect to WMI, error '0x80041002' When I click the URL for the error, I get the Details ID 9097 MSExchangeSA. the explaination is that the exchange system attendant service (MAD) is failing to connect to one of the two windows management instrumentation (WMI) namespaces. The fix is to reinstall exchange and and not overwrite any files to reregister the exchange namespace in WMI. Has anyone tried this and are there any gotchas? Please advise. Secondary question. what are admins using to allow access to users to recieve thier email on thier wireless aplliances?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I am sorry I can’t help you with your Error problem, but I do have something you can look into for receiving e-mails wirelessly.
I have done some research on wireless e-mail cause we are looking into ourselves. The best solution I have found is a software called Goodlink. Information at http://www.good.com. If you happen to have the Palm Treo 600, you will not have to have the Good software soon. Microsoft and Palm have signed an agreement to work together so that you can have wireless syncronization with Exchange 2003. http://pressroom.palmone.com/investorrelations/PubNewsStory.aspx?partner=5150&storyId=121281
Hope this helps.
