Q:
Exchange Client extensions in Outlook 2007
We are using Symnatec Antivirus 10.1 in our domain..it adds an add-in in the outlook 2007.
In the trust center, add-ins, search for Exchange Client Extensions. It shows the add-in (Symnatec Antivirus 10.1) there.
We want to disable it from the whole domain. we don't want it to get added in the outlook.
Please advise on if its possible to do that.

Do you have an image you use to install the OS on your client pc's? If so update the image with an installation of Symantec that does not include the outlook extension. If you do a complete install from scratch, then make sure this is not included when you run the symantec install. As for removing it from all existing clients, that is not something I have the solution for, but perhaps someone else does.
