Can I run the Exchange Best practices analyzer tool during workhours, I guess my question is how will running this tool affect performance of my exchange server and ad server during business hours. We are doing this as part of the discovery process for transitioning to 2007 Exchange

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

I have never seen any of my Exchange servers take a performance hit from EXBPA. Depends on your servers I suppose. If you have an adequate system with plenty of RAM and processor power you should not have any problems running EXBPA.

I've run the analyzer during working hours without any disruption to Exchange or AD. Not sure if it depends on the size of your organization. We're relatively small I guess, around 200 users in our Exchange environment.
