 Exchange Backup Problem Exchange 2003
Exchange 2003, Exchange Backup
The Microsoft Exchange node does not appear in windows backup on my Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server. Please kind someone help me solve this problem because I've not been able to backup the server for over four weeks now and the transaction logs keep on increasing daily. This is becoming dangerous

If you're using Veritas to back it up, you will need to make a registry change on both Exchange nodes to restrict the default Veritas anonymous support. The key is: HKLMSOFTWAREVERITASBackup ExecEngineNTFS "Restrict Anonymous Support" should be set to 1. After you make the change, the Exchange virtual server should appear with all the Exchange specific items available for you to back up. If you're not using Veritas, please let us know which backup program you are using.
