how i can take exchange email backup? if my mail server 2007 is done or coruppted.

You don't want to back up a corrupted mail store. Are you asking how to restore? What backup software are you using? i use acronics software which work fine but how i restore my latest mails which come after exch image?

If you are running exchange on w2k8, you can’t use ntbackup to do exchange 2007 databases backup because in fact there is no ntbackup available under w2k8 because it has been replaced by Windows Server Backup. And the bad news is that it can’t backup exchange 2003/2007.

But if you are running exchange 2007 on w2k3, you can use ntbackup to backup exchange databases

You can use Windows Server Backup under w2k8 to backup exchange 2010. If you are in this case: running exchange server 2003/2007 under w2k8,there is no other choice but choose to use third-party software

The good sight of third-party software is that it allows you to do exchange 2003/2007/2010 backup no matter it is under w2k3 or w28k. It would get you out of the dilemma.
