Hello,

If I'm reading this correctly, you've set Outlook to download messages from the Exchange server and place them into a locally stored .PST file. If this is the case your user will not be able to view any messages stored on her local machine. OWA does not create it's views from within the Outlook client persay, but rather from the Exchange server store using IIS. Therefore items that are not contained within that store will not be accessible using OWA.

Your best bet would be to set up this users Outlook profile to use the Exchange server. This will allow her to keep all of her messages (new and previously viewed)on the server which will give her access via OWA. When she returns from leave you can revert her profile back to the way you have it now and move her messages off of the server to a .PST file.

Good luck!

1- Add your account to have permission on her mailbox in EXCH Administrator.
2-Go to Control Panel/Mail on her machine.
3-Open up her profile and change delivery to her Inbox instead of Personal Folders (.pst) file.
4-Fire up Outlook and copy or move the old emails from .pst file to her Inbox.
5-Close Outlook and repeat step 2.
6- Open up her profile and change delivery back to Personal Folders.
