 Exchange 2010 , public folders
We migrated from SBS 2003 to exchange 2010 on a STD 2008 server. The migration went fine. We chose not to move the public folders. There are no copies of SBS 2003 available any more. Now we get this error Event Log: application Type: Error Source: MSExchangeMailboxAssistants Category: FreeBusy Assistant Event: 14029 Message: Couldn't find an Exchange 2010 or later public folder server with a replica for the free/busy folder: EX:/O=FIRST ORGANIZATION/OU=FIRST ADMINISTRATIVE GROUP. What is the best way to get this done. reinstalling MBX role would be last priority.

Software/Hardware used:
Exchange 2010 , std 2008

Answer Wiki:
It could be happened in an Exchange 2010 transition. To resolve this, add a public folder replica to the new server from the old one. If this doesn't solve try out this.... Try to convert the address lists to 2010 and reseting the OAB directory, enabling web based distribution and fixing up the autodiscover. Please update me about further progress ! Thanks--
