Hello all, I am in the process of planning for a future exchange 2010 deployment and was wondering what would the best hardware specs be. It's looking like I will have 6 servers: 2 CAS/HT servers and 4 mailbox servers with DAG. 1 CAS/HT server with failover to the 2nd CAS/HT, 1 active mailbox server with DAG replication to 2nd passive mailbox server and 3rd active mailbox server with DAG replication to 4th passive mailbox server. We have about 400 mailboxes and around 200 activesync connections. We use outlook 2007 and we have around 2TB of mailbox databases. 1 location, single site, single AD forest. I am needing to know whats the best CPU/RAM/HD specs I will need for each of the 6 servers/roles I will have in place. Any help is greatly appreicated!! Thank you.

Consider the followings, but there r several more ideas u can get to search on the net.
1. Network and Directory Servers: In each Active Directory site where plan to install Exchange 2010, have at least one writable domain controller running. Take care for IPV6.
2. OS is recommended as 64-bit edition of Windows Server 2008 Standard with Service Pack 2
3. Hardware: x64 architecture-based computer with Intel processor, AMD processor that supports the AMD64 platform, page file size minimum and maximum must be set to physical RAM plus 10 MB, NTFS with 800×600 or higher. Memory as per applications install
4. It supports Outlook 2010, Outlook 2007 & Outlook 2003
5. Identifying Third-Party Product Functionality: Consider antivirus, backup, phone integration and fax softwares.
