Hi, We are looking for the lowest hardware cost setup to upgrade our exchange 2003 cluster to exchange 2007. I would like to know which clustering or HA scenarios to implement, i.e SCC or CCR. We have a budget of 3 server nodes; two for Mailbox with DiskArray and one for Hub/CAS roles but seems the DiskArray is costing higher, and increasing our budget. So any guidence in which scenario to move ahead with exchange 2007 HA.

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

If you only implement a single hub\CAS server you are introducing a single point of failure. Have you looked at SCR instead. I would also seriously consider Exchange 2010 rather than 2007 and use the Database Availability Groups for HA

I would agree in implement a single HUB/CAS and then use CA XOSoft High Availability to have a DR server (that can be either physical or virtual)

Thanks for your input, So with 3 servers, can I have CCR with all Exchange roles on one server, replicated on the other server, and have a SCR on 3rd server?
