I have Exchange 2007 running on a server with a 60 GB C: drive and a 600 GB D: drive. The plan was to setup Exchange data on the D: drive, so both the Mailbox / Public Folders database were setup on this drive. However, the problem we're having is that the storage group LOG file path is still the default C: drive.
We're now constantly running out of disk space on the C: drive. I'd like to create new storage groups with LOG file paths on the D: drive and then move my mailbox / public folders databases to those new storage groups, but I'm not sure if this is possible. I'd like to know if this is the right approach to fix this problem permanently or if there are any other suggestions.
