Exchange 2007 cannot receive mail from 2003
Hi there, We have installed an Exchange 2007 Server in a Coexistant environment with an Exchange 2003 server. We can send mail from a mailbox on the 2007 server to mailboxes on the 2003 server, but cannot send from 2003 to 2007 mailboxes. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated! Thank you, Jaco van Rijswijk

Answer Wiki:
Check and make sure you have a valid bridgehead server for both receiving and sending to the 2003 and 2007 exchange servers on the routing group connector. The bridgehead server for both directions has to be specified for the routing group connector between the exchange servers. It can only be changed using a powershell command. <a href="http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb217319(EXCHG.80).aspx">More info</a> <a href="http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Implementing-Exchange-Server-2007-coexistence-Exchange-Server-2003.html">more detailed info</a> including send and receive connectors Routing group connector <a href="http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb676452(EXCHG.80).aspx">cmdlets</a> <a href="http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997292(EXCHG.80).aspx">Creating a routing group connector</a>
