Exchange 2007 can send outside domain but not receive from outside domain.
I have a new user that I set up yesterday. She can send and receive email to accounts inside the domain, as well as send email to accounts outside the domain. When an email is sent to her the error is returned to the sending account:
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

    newuser@xxxxx.com

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 Unknown local part newuser in <newuser@xxxxx.com> (state 14).
The client software is outlook 2003 running on a Windows XP SP3 Pro machine. Server is running Server 2003 x64 and Exchange 2007. Any Help would be appreciated! Thanks -Flame

Answer Wiki:
When does your recipient update service run? If it has not been run since the user was created run it again and have someone send internet mail to the user again after it is run.
