exchange 2003 sp2 server 2003 sp2 recently implemented public folder indexing, took a week to index 1.4 mil docs 3gig index now we have a user that tried to search a folder and gets no result even though you can see the subject search should give a result. other folders and searches seem fine. how can I re index a specific folder

    Sorry but I do not know of a way to re-index one folder, no. You may have to delete and re-create the index, although that sounds like it would be a very painful process given how long that took the first time. You may need to call microsoft and see if they have a way to do this that we common users are unaware of.
