Hello. I'm the IT guy for a small company and we are having an issue with the offline address book. All cached exchange users aren't seeing updates in their Outlook clients, but users who aren't in cached exchange mode are.
I'm far from an Exchange admin but I know the probably is with the OAB. I'm at a loss on how to troubleshoot. We are running Exchange 2003 SP2 servers, one front end and one back end. The info store is set to use the Default Offline Address List.
When I try to rebuild the Default Offine Address List I get an error, MAPI or an unspecified service provider ID no: c1050000. When I look in the application event log I see two entries saying the same thing: Event 9175, MAPI call OpenMsgStore failed, The information store could not be opened.
Email is flowing just fine, the only issue is this address book thing. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
