Exchange 2003 – forward email to external address
Exchange 2003 server is setup to "NOT" allow forwarding email to an external email address. This is a setting needed for the mass users. Is it possible to have a group policy to allow selected users to bypass the setting and forward email to an external email address? If so, how would you go about doing this? Thanks!!

Answer Wiki:
You would need to create additional exchange users for each external address you would like to use. Check out this article here and it should explain how to do it on a one to one basis. If you need to do this for a huge amount of users I would imagine you can import a list of users and email addresses to be set up. But you will still need to do some work manually.

Thanks for the information. I believe this will work for all email that arrives in the Exchange inbox. Is it possible to create a rule or filter that will only forward particular emails to the external email address or is this an ALL or NOTHING forward?
