We are a small company using windows xp pro on all computers, exchange 2003 and host our own e-mail. I have windows Vista at home and using web based exchange I can do everything but send e-mail. IE(7) hangs up and you have to restart it. The message is lost. Using my laptop with XP from home, web exchange works without any problems. Is there any special settings with Vista to make it work on my home desktop?

install exchange 2003 service pack 2 on your mail server
I won’t be able to try this solution until I get back in the office next week. Thanks for the suggestion.
You could also try using a different browser.
I have been researching the issue. SP2 was installed upon implementation and I have found the issue. In Windows Vista certain systems do not have Dynamic HTML installed with IE 7. The solution is to apply Dynamic HTML updates to the server so that Vista will run the components “server-side” instead of on the client-computer. Does that sound right?
Anyway, I did try another browser (Firefox) and had no problems sending e-mails or doing anything in the web based exchange. I will try the dynamic html fix or update on the server in this coming week.
