 exchange 2007 database back and restore on a offline backup server

Dear friends

I m runing my single exchange 2007 with three roles(hub,edge,cas) with Win 2003 server.

i also have two offline backup servers for exchage and Domain controller.

on abckup servers i have restored the images of both my servers exch and domain controller by acronis true image and working fine.

this method of restoring by Acronis is not so reliable and time consuming and now i want to update my mails on offline backup server weekly basis.please guide me anybody how i can upgrade my exchange database?

Is there a reason you are updating the 2nd server every week? Have you investigated standby continuous replication available in Exchange 2007? Otherwise you may want to just do regular database backups using Veritas or whatever backup software other than acronis you are using for other data in your environment. Restores can be done whenever necessary and do not require a second server due to the recovery storage group that gets created to do your restores. Sounds like <a href="http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb676571(EXCHG.80).aspx">SCR</a> may be what you need.

thans a lot for ur reply. your first question ‘s answer is for mail upgradation on weekly basis and secondly i never investigate SCR, if SCR can reslove my problem pls guide.
