I might have a connection agreement issue (along with so many other issue). In my active directory Connection Manager I only see "Config CA_MyDomainName_E2KSeverName" andits Windows server is E5.5Server, its Exchange Server is E2KServer and its Active Directory is also E2KServer.
Is this right? Shouldn't the AD Server still be the old E5.5 Server? Also, going into its properties I have the following tabs: From Exchange, From Windows, Details, General, Connections and Schedule. Shouldn't there be an advanced tab? According to MS I need to "Click the Advanced tab, and then click to select the This is a primary Connection Agreement for the connected Exchange Organization check box (if it is not already selected)"
I don't have the advanced tab! Does this apply to only Exchange 2003?
Help is greatly appreciated!!

I did look at this but didn't work for me.
I tried it again anyway but still no luck.
Any thing else I should look at? Running out of ideas.
If I were to do this manually (backup mailboxes using client, restoring them on E2K, how much of a pain/business continuity disruption will there be? Any other options? I have to get this done in the next 7 days. I have 50 mailboxes, tons of distribution lists and about 20 GB of Information Store.
Any help is appreciated!!

Take a look at this kb article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/827618/en-us

The similarities in symptoms, not necessarily error codes even as the articles indicates.

Run netdiag /test:dsgetdc /d:yourdomainname.com /v and pipe to text file.

This is a good one. The FRS errors suggest communications and/or permissions issues. Hopefully the netdiag explains the problem.

Run Netdiag /fix and DCDIAG /v on the E2K server and pipe output to a file.

Forgetting about the Exchange for a moment, can you administer accounts from the E2K server?
