Excel startup
something odd has been happening with my Excel for some time and I haven't been able to resolve it. It's not serious but, annoying. Whenever I start Excel I receive an open error that goes to temporary directory to open a file named SaveDBFIV(1).xlam. I always reply "ok" and open the file I plan to work on. I have looked at all the options and have not been able to resolve this. I sort of looks like it is trying to recover something. But, the directory is not the backup directory in the options. just wondering if anyone has had this strange little problem.
