 Excel R1C1 referencing
I have an excel spread sheet created via Crystal Reports export as a data only 2000-2003 excel (xls).
Within this spread sheet are cells containing formulas with R1C1 referencing.
When I open the spread sheet, the formulas are not calculated. I have changed cell referencing to R1C1 via the Office button, formula options, but the formulas are still not calculated. You can see the R1C1 formulas and if you click on 1 of the formulas (moving the formula into the formula edit area), place the cursor at the end of the formula, and press "enter", the formula is calculated properly.
There are thousands of these R1C1 formulas on the spread sheet. Is there any way get excel to first recognize these cells as formulas with R1C1 referencing, then calculate the formulas throughout the spread sheet?

Answer Wiki:
Have you checked under Tools Options Calculations to see if Crystal is creating a report that has the Calculations option set to manual?
