Excel macro – create a chart
I created a macro that reforms my data and creates a chart. Teh macro also includes selecting a chart layout that has an x and y axis field that I want to enter in some text. My macro works all the way except it does not record the content I put into the X and Y axis.
Why is that? and how can i get around the problem? I want the macro to create a standard looking chart with proper x and y axis titles.

Can you post the macro? It will be needed if we are to help you find what is going wrong.
I have tried macros that have been posted as having an error, and it has done what was wanted on my machine. It could be a machine setting, or an error in the coding.
I can’t post the macro since it has been deleted.. sorry
