 Excel Data Transfer Add In
I tried transferring data from a physical file (AS400) using the Excel Data Transfer Add In (Client Access) and am getting cells with unreadable syntax. It appears that a space is being populated with a 4040 string etc. Is there a way to get the information transferred without having to modify the data in Excel? Also instead of having 5 columns populate in 1 cell how do I go about populating them in the proper cells? Thanks for your help!!!!

Answer Wiki:
look for the option to convert CCSID (it may be on the ODBC data source definition, if not in the Excel query)

Hi,
could you please check the file whether the Negative sign is for the same column or for next column, i guess the negative sign is for next column, while doing the import wizard in excel please check the columns carefully.
suggestion : do the data transfer again and while opening with excel, care full with column breaks
please let me know the result.
