Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Excel spreadsheet
I have a large spreadsheet with cell that contain  similar older catalog numbers. Want to update to the latest version of catalog number. Can I delete/ remove a character from the following Example:   23LB412  take out the "B" and keep the following: 23L412

Software/Hardware used:
EXCEL 7, Windows Vista
