Excel 2007 data - sorting source workbook


Microsoft Excel, Excel 2007

I want to create a link to data in a second workbook. My problem is when the source workbook is sorted, the links are misaligned. I don't think absolute/relative references are the issue. How do I create a link such that no matter where external reference in the source workbook workbook moves to, the link holds true?
