 Excel 2003 Chart Problem

Has anyone ever had this problem? Our Finance Director created a spreadsheet with charts in MS Excel 2000 last year and he is now using Excel 2003. He came to us and showed us that even though the information in the spreadsheet has changed, the values displayed in the chart do not. So if a cell says $1,000, the chart shows $800, but, if you hover over that line in the chart, it shows $1,000. Let me know. Thank you.

Since you mentioned that the Finance Director is now using Excel 2003 where he was using Excel previously, I would suspect that his Excel 2003 is not set to automatically calculate when data is entered. I'll bet his Excel 2000 was set to automatically calculate. Check how his options are set. Not sure where it is in 2003, but in Excel 2000 it's under Tools | Options | Calculate Hope this helps, Jim
