Excel 2000 Chart Won’t Automatically Update
My Excel 2000 chart won't automatically update when I change the data in one/both of the columns in the attached spreadsheet. I have checked the automatic button under Tools/Option/Calculate, but it still does not work. The only way I can get it to work is if I go into the chart and change one of the series (eg. from $N$9:$N$5205 to $A$9:$A$5205). After it plots this revised series (which is not the series I want to plot), I then click undo. After clicking undo, the chart then plots the correct series with the updated changes which I made initially. But this is a bit tedious if I have several charts which need to be updated in the same workbook! Hopefully, this is understandable! Has anyone else encountered this problem and know how to fix it? The only thing I can add to my question is that if I make the change to my spreadsheet (the chart does not update as indicated previously) then save the spreadsheet and exit from Excel, when I open Excel and the spreadsheet again the chart has been updated. Anyone have any ideas as to what I'm missing? Thank you. Brian
