Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

You should learn Typing first. Then start applying for your resume in different job sites. Now  a days there are various online jobs available. You can start doing online jobs till then. to get good salary , you have to plan to learn any application like photoshop, flash etc. Best of luck

If you want to know everything about computer operations, you have a lot of reading to do. Here is Basic system operations for System i from IBM. Finish that and we can find operations info for another platform. -- Tom

Another good source of reference is to look into reading the Dummies books.  Start off with the basic's, like Computers for Dummies, A+ for Dummies, and then depending on which route you want to take, system administrator, networking, databases, you can find a load of Dummies books on all of these.  They break things down so that a reader can learn things from the ground up and sometimes the why.  Also, look into obtaining your A+ certification.  This is the first certification that all IT personnel start with and will give you something to stand on when you finally go job hunting.  Good luck.

Here is a good place to start on your search. http://job-descriptions.careerplanner.com/Computer-Operators.cfm Although some people find careers as computer operators, you might also want to broaden your plans to include areas of hardware and/or software installation and support.  Or perhaps network administration.
