my still fresh and absolutely free from viruses and i removed the non-essential hardware i have one chose ( windows repair but i have a recovery cd can i use anthor copy of windows xp and how to repair it ??

I’ve personally seen daemon tools do this after SP2 got installed. Turned out to be daemon tools and I had to boot into safemode and choose the option to confirm the loading of drivers. Choose NO on every one and then boot into safemode to remove it.
