Dear All, Ihave been recieving the follwoing message in My Domain Controller's Event Viewer since i changed my Domain Controller which functions as RID Master .Ther are 3 Domain controllers(Windows 2000 Servers) in My Local Network which has about 500-700 Users.could some one please let me know how to solve the problem step by step. Regards, Event ID Message: The account-identifier allocator failed to initialize properly. The record data contains the NT error code that caused the failure. Windows 2000 will retry the initialization until it succeeds; until that time, account creation will be denied on this Domain Controller. Please look for other SAM event logs that may indicate the exact reason for the failure.

www.eventid.net is a great source for error codes in event viewer. Just enter the error code number and you'll see responses from people who experienced the same problem.

Check out for any errors in the event log with respect to replication. this is generally observed in case of user rights assignment errors. in case there is any issues with replication between the servers, fixing that may solve the problem. HardDrive
