    Sous: the question was how to disable - not what does the event mean. Different hard drives may have a setting to disable write cache, check the hard drive configuration: System Properties / Hardware / Device Manager / Disk Drives / <your drive> / Policies > Enable Write Cache, checkbox. There may be software settings for some hard drives or RAID setups.
