well, it depends on who you get your EoC through.. XO Communications and Megapath Networks supply a device made called a Hatteras.. Its essentially the Ethernet over Copper equivalent to a smart jack for T1 services.. Megapath even supplies you with an Adtran ethernet router, as well..

EoC is WAY different when compared to typical T1/DS1 setups.. I really think, that in the near future, EoC will replace T1 in terms of telephony based, high redundancy connections.. Bonded T1s are cool, but think about it.. compare the cost of 4 bonded T1s vs a 6m or even 10mb ethernet over copper.. compared to T1, its way more stable, redundant, and you can get SMOKING fast speeds.. Like, over 30mb up/down :)

We have a 10 x 10 Ethernet over copper solution from LaunchNet. The only hardware that was installed was a Hateras box that required only a router on our end to connect our network. LaunchNet has an faq about Ethernet here: <a href="http://www.launchnet.com/ethernet.php">. Hope this helps.
