I want to implement a new solution in my network. I want to make an Etherchannel over a STM1 radio link. I don't have Gi ports available so I want to use two aggregated FaEth ports. But I'm thinking of using different service policy on each interface. So, I want to put a service policy with a port shaper of 90 Mbps and QoS on one FaEth and another service policy with a port shaper of 45 Mbps and QoS on the other FaEth, having an Etherchannel logical port with an overall capacity of 135 Mbps with QoS.
Will the traffic balance correctly? I mean, will I have 60% load on each port (+/- 5%) or will I have 40% on Eth_1 (90 Mbps) and 80% on Eth_2 (45 Mbps).
Has anyone tested or implemented this solution? I tested the Etherchannel over the Radio link, but I didn't have a traffic generator to finish my tests.
All network equipment are Cisco. (the Etherchannel is between 2 Cisco SW 3400-24TS)
Thank you very much!
