 Error while running eseutil for mail storage database

When i run eseutil i am getting error eseutil -ml E00.log Extensible Storage Engine Utilities for Microsoft(R) Exchange Server Version 08.01 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All Rights Reserved. Initiating FILE DUMP mode... Base name: E00 Log file: E00.log ERROR: Cannot open log file (E00.log). Error -1811. Operation terminated with error -1811 (JET_errFileNotFound, File not found) after r 0.31 seconds.

It looks like you are doing this for an Exchange 2007 server although you did not say what version this is. Did you take the database offline (dismount it) first?
