 Error while connecting remotely
i have two systems.. sys1 (192.168.10.25) and sys2 (192.168.10.26) while establishing remote desktop connection with sys2 from sys1 i get this message " authentication certificate received from remote computer has expired or not valid" but sys2 can connect remotely to sys1... i have enabled and disabled all remote settings and firewall(including the exceptions) on both systems.. both systems run on windows vista.. what do i do ...

Answer Wiki:
Open the remote desktop connection client on sys1. Click the options button on the bottom right of the window. Click on the Advanced tab. Change the option to "Always Connect, even if authentication fails".

On the system which you can not remote desktop to, try lowering the security settings.

Open the control panel. Open System. Click on “Remote Settings”.

Select the “Allow connections from computers running any version of remote desktop”.

See if that lets you connect.
