Error: The TCP/IP protocol stack reported that It ran out of memory...

Lotus Domino, Platform Issues

I have a Notes 6.5.5 client user getting the following error when replying to or forwarding messages:
"The TCP/IP protocol stack reported that It ran out of memory. Consult your network documentation
to increase configured memory, or reduce Notes connections by limiting clients"
Anyone encountered this? Have any ideas?
Thank you.

Hi,
You didnt mention on which your domino runs.
Anyway, i had the issue on a windows server and the solution was that i increased the virtual memory of the machine. It worked

I later discovered it was actually a spyware problem, have you checked along that line?

Hope the solution works.

Thanks yemoseh,
Actually looks like the Notes.ini was corrupt. After replacing it, everything seems to be running fine, not sure yet if this is a long-term fix. This type of error seems to have a number of different possible causes.
