error opening attached .zip file
Lotus Notes, Lotus Notes 6.5, WinZip
I have a user who is trying to open a .zip file that was attached to an e-mail. We are using Lotus Notes 6.5.5. Other users are able to open this file without issue. However, when she tries to open it, she gets a "file not found error". Has anyone seen this? How do I fix it? I've tried un-installing & re-installing WinZip, making sure I cleaned out EVERYTHING pertaining to WinZip even from the registry before re-installing, but to no avail.

This software or the portable version located here is an alternative to WinZip. If you use the portable version, you might avoid some of the junk left in the registry relating to WinZip. Windows XP has a built in tool for unzipping a file, right click on the file, then select "open with" from the drop down. From that list choose "Compressed (Zipped) Files" or Compressed (Zipped) folders"
