Error messages during the creation of a mirror database on SQL Server

I am trying to restore a database from one SQL Server to another to create a mirror database. However, when I enter “RESTORE DBMirror FROM DISK=’C:Backup DBMirror_FULL.BAK’ WITH NORECOVERY,” next to the database name appears the error message “Restoring…” It never goes away. What could the cause of this error be?

Thanks. We'll let you know when a new response is added.

It stays in restore mode because that what you told it to do by adding the WITH NORECOVERY option to the RESTORE DATABASE command. This leaves the database in a restoring state so that additional logs can be restored to the system.

At this point it should be ready to be configured for database mirroring.
